Annapurna Base Camp trek(Annapurna Sanctuary Trek) 4130 mtr.

The Annapurna Himal is a vast massif with several peaks above 7000 m. Part of the range forms a natural amphitheatre known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, ringed by such giants as Annapurna I, Glacier Dome, Gangapurna, Fang and Machhapuchhare. We trek through forested hillsides to Ghorepani where we ascend Poon Hill for a magnificent panoramic sunrise of the Annapurnas and Dhaulagiri. Entering a narrow valley we pass directly below Machhapuchhare before reaching the Sanctuary, a veritable home of the Gods. We have a day to explore this magnificent place before returning to Pokhara via a different route. This is a fairly strenous alpine trek offering close-up mountain views equal to any in the Himalaya. Moderate to difficult trekking from 900 m to 3,700 m. Accommodation in comfortable lodges run by local families. The trek starts in Pokhara, clients carry day-pack only and walk at their own pace.

Itinerary In Detail

• Days 1 Arrival at KIM and transfer to hotel, Overnight at hotel. B.B.
• Days 2 Full day sightseeing tour of Nepal UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE such as Kathmandu durbar square, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, Patan durbar square, Bhaktapur Durbar square & Changunarayan .
• Days 3 Drive to Pokhara 900 m by bus, boating in Fewa Lake. Overnight at Guest House. B.B.
• Days 4 Drive to Nayapool (1.30 hr) & trek to Tikhedhunga 1540 m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
• Days 5 Trek to Ghorepani 2850 m. Overnight at Guest House.B.L.D.
• Days 6 Early morning hike up to Poonhill 3193 m for a great sunrise view and 180 % of panoramic mountain ranges including Annapurna ranges and Dhaulagiri ranges nearly 16 peaks. After spending an hour for picture on top hike down to lodge and take breakfast. After breakfast trek continue to Tadapani 2590 m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
• Days 7 Trek to Chhomorong 1890 m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
• Days 8 Trek to Himalaya 2930 m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
• Days 9 Trek to Machhapuchhre Base Camp 3700 m. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
• Days 10 Short trek to Annapurna Base camp 4130 m. Overnight at Guest House.B.L.D.
• Days 11 Morning sunrise on Mt. Annapurna I 8091 m Annapurna South 7219 m. Baraha Shikhar 7647 m and many other peaks including Mt. Machhapucchre 6993 m. having all morning at Annapurna base camp trek down to Deurali 3100 m . Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D.
• Days 12 Trek back to Sinuwa 2340 m. Overnight at Guest House.B.L.D.
• Days 13 Trek to Jhinudanda 1780 m. natural hot spring. Overnight at Guest House.B.L.D.
• Days 14 Trek to Ghandruk 1940 m. Overnight at Guest House.B.L.D.
• Days 15 Trek to Nayapool and drive to Pokhara. Overnight at Hotel . B.B.
• Days 16 Today we will drive to Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel. B.B.
• Days 17 Leasure day in Kathmandu. Overnight at Hotel. B.B.
• Days 18 Transfer to airport for your home departure. Farewell !!
